The Arkansas State Police report a crash west of Paragould killed a Paragould man and injured a minor on Friday.
The Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Report stated the crash happened Friday, April 25, at 2 p.m. on U.S. Highway 412, just outside Paragould city limits.
46-year-old Danny Allen Peyton was driving east in a 2001 Ford Escape with a minor in the vehicle.
ASP reports the vehicle failed to follow a right-hand curve in the road and drove off the road through the opposite shoulder.
The vehicle struck an embankment, a telephone support cable, and a tree.
Peyton was killed in the crash.
The minor was injured and taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis according to the report.
