Authorities in Independence County are investigating after two people were discovered dead inside a residence on Old Camp Road, in Independence County.
Independence County Deputies responded to a welfare check at the home on Tuesday and discovered the bodies inside.
Authorities said remains have been sent to the state crime lab for identification and to determine the cause of death.
The Independence County Sheriff’s Office said no further information will be released at this time, citing the ongoing investigation.
