Jewell Claredon Brewer, 81 of Conway, passed away April 1, 2025, in the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. 

Born July 24, 1943, in Portia; son of the late, Jewel and Gloria Emmons Brewer. He was united in marriage to Sarah Pardy Brewer on September 4, 1970. He was a government employee working in management for the Army and Air Force “AAFES”. Jewell had a passion, collected and worked on antique Studebaker vehicles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Claredon and Mary Emmons, (who raised him) and a brother.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Sarah; a son, Charles Brewer (Angela) of Conway; three daughters, Patricia Whitt (Gary) of Dyersburg, TN, Dina Alexander (Joe) of Dyersburg, TN, and Mary Ann Brewer of Decherd, TN; six grandchildren, Steven, Sarah, Christopher, Emily, Colton, and Nathanial; five great grandchildren, Chloe, Kade, Jaxxon, Kyle, and Thomas; two brothers, Brian Rhodes, and Michael Brewer; one sister, Susan Monroe; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1 P.M. in the Independence Missionary Baptist Church near Pleasant Plains with Bro. Wessley Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris White, Joe Long, Chris Hayes, Ronnie Smith, Nate and Steven Brewer. Honorary Pallbearer is Melvin Moore. Interment will follow in the Goad Cemetery near Pleasant Plains.

Visitation will be from 12 P.M. till 1 P.M. Friday.
