March 21st, 2025, at approximately 9:44 P.M. a Clay County deputy made a traffic stop on U.S. 62 East of Corning. When the deputy tried to stop the vehicle, the vehicle pulled back into the traffic lane three different times. The driver gave the appearance that he was going to try and flee.
