March 20th, 2025, at approximately 12:19 P.M. the Clay County Sheriff’s Dept. made a traffic stop at County Road 139 and Highway 328 North of Corning.
The Sheriff’s Dept. had a vehicle pass that had no headlights, grille, or front bumper. The vehicle also had a fictitious license plate.
When the driver was contacted, he could not speak English. The driver also only had a Little Rock, Arkansas Identification Card, and had no insurance.
The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center, and the vehicle was towed. After the subject was brought to the Detention Center it was learned that the 33 yr. old Jonathan Ramon Orozco Soza was in the United States illegally from Nicaragua.
ICE placed a hold on the subject, and he was picked up Friday.
