After a nearly three-week-long search for a missing Kennett man, his body was discovered in a wrecked car on Friday morning.

Craighead County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered Miguel Rivera’s vehicle upside down in a ravine on County Road 751 north of Jonesboro.

Rivera’s was reported missing to the Kennett Police Department on Sunday, Feb. 23rd. Family members stated he was last seen in Craighead County.

On Thursday, March 13th, investigators received Rivera’s phone logs and records.

Using the records, deputies began searching his last known location on Friday morning.

At approximately 11 a.m., a deputy discovered the vehicle flipped over in a deep ravine covered in vegetation.

Investigators believe Rivera lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road into the ravine.
