Mary Elizabeth Maggard 83, of Black Rock passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2025, at her residence.
Born May 18, 1941, in Bradenton, FL; she was the daughter of Leonard and Orabell Jarrett Moss. She was united in marriage to Donald Lee Maggard on September 26, 1990. Mary was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. She had a green thumb, loved flowers, doing puzzles, baking and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; three children, Andy (Carol), Timmy, and Daniel Maggard; and one grandchild, Donald Lee Maggard; three siblings, Carolyn Schmidt, AD and Robin Dale Moss.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Booth of Royal, Diane Dulaney (Boyce) of Black Rock, and Jeanette Smith of Sedgwick; three sons, Tommy (Francis) Maggard of Trumann, Randy Maggard of Black Rock, and Robert (Angie) Maggard of Hot Springs; a brother, Charles Moss; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grands that she loved dearly.
Memorial service will be in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie on March 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
