“R.M.” Richard Marion Robins, 92, of Walnut Ridge passed away February 22, 2025, in the St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born January 11, 1933, in Greene County, son of the late Samuel and Lille Threet Robins. He was united in marriage to Helen Moore on May 2, 1959. R.M. spent most of his life working as a Carpenter building local houses. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved animals.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son, Troy Robins; a grandson, Skylar Robins; six sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Robins of the home; three sons, Richard Robins and Delbert Robins both of Imboden, and Samuel Robins of Hoxie; five grandchildren, Samuel Robins, Shayenna Hall, Lance, Sonya, and Colton Robins; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert (Carol) Robins and Walter Robins both of Black Rock; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Peoples Faith Tabernacle Church at 1202 Sullens Road in Hoxie with Bro. Roger Brand officiating. Pallbearers will be Wesley Gates, Leslie “Gator” Gates, Delbert Robins, Samuel Robins, Randy Robins, and James Mashburn. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
