Thomas Wayne Ashcraft Jr., aka “Tik Tok Tommy” age 38 has been charged in Independence County with (6) counts of Distributing/Possessing/Viewing Matter Depicting Child Sex.
The new charges stem after an investigation by the Batesville Police Department, investigators following up on a different case involving Ashcraft were informed that the suspect was working with wrestlers at a local gym, when the owner of the wrestling group was contacted in January they were informed Ashcraft was supposed to produce proof that he was not on parole or a registered sex offender. Ashcraft did not return with the proof but investigators discovered Ashcraft had made several attempts to contact underage females at the facility through social media. Screen shots of the conversations were provided to investigators as evidence.(Ashcraft is on parole, is a Registered Sex Offender and is currently out on bond)
On February 7th, Ashcraft was arrested on revocation charges and taken to the Independence County Jail where investigators met with him concerning to allegations on February 8th.
During an interview, Ashcraft’s cell phone was seized, Ashcraft admitted to having contact with several underage girls saying “He was a wrestler and liked to have (them) as fans”.
The alleged incidents occurred between 10/22/24 and 2/2/25 according to investigators.
On February 20th, an arrest warrant was issued charging Ashcraft with (6) counts of Distributing /Possessing / Viewing Matter Depicting Child Sex (Class C Felony). Each counts carries up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Bond was set at $150,000.00

Thomas Wayne Ashcraft of Cave City was arrested on February 7th by the Independence County Sheriff’s Office on charges of (2 counts) Revocation of SIS and a Felony Court Pick Up Order.
Ashcraft, a convicted habitual offender according to the State of Arkansas and has dozens of bookings including recent theft of property charges out of Lawrence County in October 2024.
Ashcraft has past charges ranging from theft, multiple hot check violations, probation violations and failure to register as a sex offender.
Ashcraft was arrested and taken to the Independence County Detention Center.
