On February 6, 2025 the Corning Police Department along with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, and Arkansas Probation and Parole conducted a series of Probation and Parole searches around the City of Corning. The searches resulted in the arrest of 42 year old Miguel Davis and 37 year old Maddison Lee (photo not available)both of Corning.

Miguel Davis is charged with § 5-64-419 – Possession of a controlled substance A Schedule I or Schedule II controlled substance that is methamphetamine, heroin, or cocaine with an aggregate weight, including an adulterant or diluent, of: Two grams (2g) or more but less than ten grams (10g) a Class C felony, § 5-64-419 – Possession of a controlled substance A Schedule VI controlled substance with an aggregate weight, including an adulterant or

diluent, of: Less than four ounces (4 oz.) a Class A Misdemeanor, and § 5-64-443 – Possession of drug paraphernalia a Class a Misdemeanor.

Maddison Lee is Charged with § 5-64-419 – Possession of a controlled substance A Schedule I or Schedule II controlled substance that is methamphetamine, heroin, or cocaine with an aggregate weight, including an adulterant or diluent, of: Ten grams (10g) or more but less than two hundred grams (200g) a Class B felony, § 5-64-443 – Possession of drug paraphernalia a Class D Felony, 5-64-419 – Possession of a controlled substance A Schedule VI controlled substance with an aggregate weight, including an adulterant or diluent, of: Less than four ounces (4 oz.) a Class A Misdemeanor, and § 5-64-443 – Possession of drug paraphernalia a Class A Misdemeanor.

On February 7, 2025, Clay County District Judge Dan Stidham found probable cause to charge both individuals with the above listed charges. Judge Stidham set bond for Miguel Davis at $15,000 cash or surety bond and Maddison Lee a $25,000 cash of surety bond with both having their next court appearance set for May 12, 2025, in Clay County Circuit Court in Corning.
