Craighead County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Bono man after he allegedly punched his pregnant sister.
Court documents show a judge found probable cause to charge Jonathan Edward Rowland age 26 with third-degree domestic battery involving a pregnant woman.
Authorities say on Sunday, Craighead County Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence on Hwy 349.
Law enforcement discovered the victim had blood visible on her hands, shirt, jacket, and face.
The victim told law enforcement that her brother punched her in the mouth and that she didn’t know what provoked the suspect.
According to court documents, the victim claimed Rowland threw a set of keys and a remote control at her.
The victim stated the suspect then approached her and punched her in the face, knocking her unconscious.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Bond was set for Rowland at $75,000 cash/surety bond and ordered to have no contact with the victim.
