A north Arkansas man was sentenced Monday for a murder in Fulton County that occurred in 2004.
Dennis Kingston age 66 agreed to a plea deal for murder and was sentenced to 30 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Authorities say in August 2004, David “Stony” Stone was shot and killed through the window of a home.
Authorities re-examined evidence in the decades old case and in February 65-year-old Dennis Kingston was again interviewed about the homicide.
Authorities say the detective interviewed Kingston prior and believed Kingston had involvement in the crime.
During the interview on February 23rd, Kingston confessed to investigators that he shot Stone through the window in 2004.
