Authorities say a joint investigation between the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police has resulted in the arrest of Michael Moore of Flippin in the death of Alisha Marie Gauger.
Gauger was found unresponsive at a residence on County Road 7057.
Authorities discovered drug paraphernalia and other items associated with the use of narcotics at the residence.
Gauger’s body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
The Arkansas State Medical Examiner determined Gauger’s death was caused by combined drug toxicity due to ingesting five different drugs, including Fentanyl.
Moore was arrested on February 7th and charged in connection with Gauger’s death, he was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of manslaughter (felony), maintaining a drug premise (felony) and tampering w/physical evidence (felony).
Moore was released on bond.
