On February 3rd, 2024, at approximately 8:45 P.M. the Clay County Sheriffs Dept. made a traffic stop in Greenway. The deputy knew she had left a residence in Rector that was under observation for possible drug activity. When the deputy came in contact with the driver, she advised him that she was coming from Paragould. The lady gave consent for the deputy to search the vehicle. Before the deputy searched the vehicle she went to the back seat and removed her 3yr. old daughter from a child seat and retrieved a clear bag of what tested positive to be Methamphetamine from under the seat. The deputy conducted a search of the vehicle, and 30yr. old Kristie Shaleen Page of St. Francis was taken into custody. She was transported to the Clay County Detention Center and booked in on the following charges. Possession of SCH I or Il GT IOGM but LT 200GM, Endangering Welfare of Minor-I St Degree-Risk of Death/Physical Injury-Desert Under 10, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
