The Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Report states 3 people were killed and 5 people were injured in a head-on accident that occurred south of Bono on Hwy 63 at 5:40am on Thursday.
Those listed as killed in the accident were John Leroy Lewis, age 58 of Mountain Home, David Lee Vanwinkle, age 63 of Winona Missouri, Timmothy Collin Foote, age 62 of West Burlington Iowa.
Listed as injured were Robert Harris age 35 of Greentop Missouri, Donald Zachary Williams age 44 of Maynard, David Micheal Reading Jr. age 29 of St. Louis, Jimmy Lee McMullen age 35 of Collinsville Oklahoma and Garrett William Sorrell age 34 of Gamaliel Arkansas.
According to the report, a 2005 Dodge Dakota traveling south on Hwy 63 collided head-on with a 2016 Ford Transit that was traveling northbound.
Weather conditions were reported as cloudy in the report.
