Melvina Jean Dunlap, 78 of Walnut Ridge, died February 3, 2025, in the St. Elizabeths Place in Jonesboro.
Born August 15, 1946, in Saffell, daughter of Marvin Cook and Emmogine Polston. She worked in cosmetics for Merle Norman and loved spending time raising her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas Dunlap; and three brothers, Marvin L., Melvin D, and Lonnie O. Cook.
Survivors include her four sisters, Ollie Imalene Hunt of Hoxie, Melba Jane Howard of Paragould, Alpha Ann Clymer of Willis, TX, and Shearlyn Deanette Wilson of Walnut Ridge; five grandchildren, Trey, Joshua, Jonas, Ikea, and Jeremiah; several great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Rick Anglin officiating. Pallbearers will be Trey, Jeremiah, and Joshua Dunlap, Rick Anglin, Jerry, Bradley and Derrick Howard. Interment will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12 P.M. till time of the service.
