Charles Bradley Cagle, age 22 of Walnut Ridge was arrested in Paragould after police say he solicited sex with two children at a scouting event held at a church.

A Greene County Judge found probable cause to arrest 22-year-old Charles Bradley Cagle and charge him with solicitation.

Law enforcement began investigating Cagle after they received a report from the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline on Sept. 14, 2024, alleging sexual abuse at a scouting event in Newton County Arkansas.

Authorities received a second report via the hotline reporting an incident that occurred in the fall of 2023 in Greene County Arkansas.

Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division interviewed both victims stating they “disclosed acts” that would constitute solicitation of rape.

Both victims named the defendant, Charles “Bradley” Cagle, as their offender according to court documents.

Affidavit state that the suspect was a scoutmaster over both victims.

Cagle made incriminating statements regarding the incidents to investigators during a November 2024 interview with his attorney present.

Cagle was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 and taken to the Greene County Detention Center. Bond was set at $200,000. Court documents show Cagle was released on bail after 5 days of incarceration.
