Leaffie Virginia Goza 70, of Newport, formerly of Tuckerman passed away early Friday morning, January 10, 2025.
Born March 27, 1954, in Walnut Ridge, daughter of Albert and Leaffie Russell Green. She was united in marriage to Roger Goza on December 23, 1986. Leaffie worked a brief time in factory’s but was better known as a Waitress. She enjoyed fishing, riding around the country and flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Roger of the home; two sons, Bobby Wilson of Texas and Shannon Pittman of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Sandra Rogers of Corning and Pamela Harris of Tuckerman; two step-daughters, Angela Lindley of Jonesboro and Roxanna Tims of Lynn; a brother, Joe Green of Hoxie; two sisters, Jeanette Meadows of Hoxie and Mary Joyce Pittman of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 1 P.M. in the Strangers Home Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Goza officiating. Pallbearers will be Montana Neely, Dalton Neely, Dakota Neely, Kevin Wilson, Roger Goza and Patrick McAnally. Honorary pallbearer will be James Goza.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 15, 2025, from 6 till 8 pm at the Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie.
