On January 3rd, 2025, at approximately 10:48 A.M. the Arkansas State Police and the Clay County Sheriffs Dept. executed a search warrant at 838 East Jackson Street in
Piggott. A few weeks ago, the State Police was contacted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The State Police was advised that a I.P. address located in Piggott was involved in viewing and sending of sexually explicit material involving children. The State Police contacted the Sheriffs Dept. in early December and advised them of an investigation being conducted involving this address. During the search warrant 23yr. old Zachery Houston James Lawrence was interviewed and taken into custody. He was booked in at the Clay County Detention Center on the following charges: Possession of Child Pornography.
