The Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has recognized one law enforcement officer from each county for its Safer Communities Award. These officer have gone above and beyond in their dedication to keeping us safe. The 2024 Prosecuting Attorney’s Safer Communities Law Enforcement Officers of the Year are:
Lawrence County: Eric Cheatham
Sharp County: Greg Stewart
Jackson County: Shane Rogers
Randolph County: Slade Weisenbach
