Michael Dwayne Tyler, 69, of Pocahontas entered his eternal home on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Randolph County Nursing Home.
He was born on December 26, 1955, to Wayne and Joyce Hampton Tyler in St. Louis, MO. After high school Michael went on to get an Associate of Applied Science Business Technology degree. He became a bail bondsman for 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Company. He was a member of Troop 45 of the Boy Scouts of America where he held various jobs like Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster. He was a deacon at the Pocahontas Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies included wood working, model trains, camping, watching westerns, singing and listening to music. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Joyce Tyler and his first wife, Cheryl Tyler.
He is survived by his wife, Marisa Fielden Tyler; children, John Tyler of Cordova, TN., Jason (Leann) Tyler of Corning and stepson, Jake (Madison) Redwine of Maynard; grandchildren, Duncan Tyler (Brooke Boling) of Walnut Ridge, Kairi Tyler of Corning, and Maci Redwine of Maynard; and sister, Lisa Martin of Biggers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Graveside service at 12:30 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Harris Cemetery with Noah Reese and Randy Lingenfelter officiating.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are James Gates, Jim Gates, Noah Reese, BJ Martin, Gregg Carter, Keith Waymon, Brad Parnell, and Glenn Obarts.
