Authorities in Missouri report a man from Arkansas has died after a crash involving a pickup truck early Sunday morning.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports around 12:30 a.m., the truck was driving on Hwy 142, about ten miles east of Thayer.
According to the report, the crash occurred when the truck ran off the road and overturned, partially ejecting the passenger out of the truck.
The driver, a 54-year-old man from Thayer, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger, a 25-year-old man from Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, died at the scene.
The report stated neither was wearing a seat belt.
The names were not released by the Missouri Highway Patrol in their report.
