Alvie Leon Cain Jr. 72, of Hoxie, died November 2, 2024, in the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born June 29, 1952, in Rockford, IL; son of the late Alvie Sr. and Mary Hendricks Cain. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Hatman in 1971. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as an Engineer all his life. He enjoyed spending time with is family and friends. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and making knives.
He is preceded by his parents; his loving wife, Bonnie; and his mother-in-law, Wavie Watts.
Survivors include his three sons, Willis Cain of Shannon, Russ and Ben Cain of Hoxie; five grandchildren, Jack, Sloan, Corey, Evan, and Axel; a brother, Mike (Sharon) Cain of Cord; and a sister, Cindy (Harry) Nelson of Oakdale, WI; In-laws, Janet (Rick) Lopez of Pheonix, AZ, Bob (Lisa) Malone of Oswego, IL, and Billy (Virgina) Watts of Corning; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2 P.M. in the Arnold Cemetery with Jamey Sullens officiating.
