Thelma Benson, aged 69, of Imboden, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on November 14, 1954, in Williford, Arkansas, Thelma was the daughter of the late Francis Collins and Minnie Fearal Dean Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bill Collins, Bob Collins, Ruth Clements, Evelyn Gann, and Marion (Cricket) Stephens.
Thelma is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Benson, and her children, Brandon Benson and his wife Grace of Imboden, and Shannon Bailey and her partner David Janeski of Millington, TN. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Benny Collins of Pocahontas, Mark Collins of Myrtle, MO, Wayne Collins of Williford, and Betty Nation of Davenport, IA, along with many other family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
