Law enforcement is reporting an investigating of a shooting incident that occurred in Missouri.
Authorities say a juvenile accused of stealing a truck in Randolph County on Tuesday robbed a store at gunpoint.
Randolph County deputies received a call from a person on Julie Dean Road in Pocahontas, reported their 2015 Chevrolet truck was stolen.
Law enforcement learned the vehicle came into Pocahontas shortly after 12 p.m.
A BOLO was issued for the vehicle in Randolph and surrounding counties.
Doniphan Police Department notified RCSO that Bart’s Liquor Store on Highway 166 North at the Randolph County/Missouri state line had been robbed at gunpoint and the alleged vehicle involved description matched the stolen truck from Randolph County. The suspect was described as a white juvenile male wearing a red shirt and jogging pants around 1:30 pm.
Authorities say the juvenile suspect fired several rounds off while leaving the store and driving back into Randolph County before turning around and heading back into Missouri.
An Officer Safety BOLO with updated information was again sent to surrounding counties.
Shortly after 3pm Missouri law enforcement began a pursuit with the suspect vehicle on Hwy 67 south of Poplar Bluff ending in a crash and foot pursuit.
