Early voting begins today!

LAWRENCE COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONER’S PROCLAMATION
NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that the Lawrence County Election Commissioners have set the following polling places for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Polls will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

Dent/ Annieville Assembly of God Church, Imboden
Strawberry/ Flat Creek Smithville Community Center
Morgan/ Eaton Lynn City Hall
Reed’s Creek Strawberry/ Jesup Strawberry City Hall
Reed’s Creek Saffell
Black River/ Black Rock Church of Christ, Black Rock
Campbell 1, 2, 3, 4, / Cache/ Richwoods Lawrence County Community Room
Boas 1, 2, 3/ Dowell / Promised Land Hoxie Service Center
Ashland, Marion, Lawrence Minturn City Hall

Early voting will be held in the Lobby of the Lawrence County Courthouse
Beginning on Monday October 21st and end on Monday, November 4th.
Voting will be from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 10:00am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Early voting will end on Monday November 4th at 5:00 pm.

Offsite Countywide Early Voting (All Precincts)
Lynn City Hall Saturday October 26th 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Black Rock Church of Christ Saturday November 2nd 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Ballot Canvassing and Counting
Absentee processing will be conducted in the Conference Room of the Lawrence County Courthouse on Tuesday November 5th between the hours of 5:00 – 7:30P.M.
Election Day processing and tabulating will be Election Night after the Polls close
in the Courtroom at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
Review of Provisional Ballots – November 6th 8:00 A.M. until Complete
Post Election Audit – November 11th 9:00 A.M. until completed Lawrence County Meeting Room
Final Review and Counting Provisional – November 12th 1:00 P.M. County Clerk’s Office

Election Officials list is posted on the window of the County Clerk’s Office.
Must not be married to or related within the second degree of consanguinity to any
candidate running for office in the current election if objection to the service is made to the county board of election commissioners within seven (7) calendar days after the posting of the list of officials;
(j) Must not be the spouse of a member of the county board of election commissioners if objection to the service is made to the county board of election commissioners within ten (10) calendar days after the posting of the list of officials; and
(k) Must not be the chairman or the spouse of a chairman of a county political party if objection to the service is made to the county board of election commissioners within ten (10) calendar days after the posting of the list of officials.

Viewing Your Ballot Prior to Voting:
Any voter may look up his or her sample ballot on the Secretary of State’s website at:
https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org/voterview. Ballots will be available no later than 20 days prior to the election. Sample ballots will also be available at the polling site.
