Esther Lavone Jones, 81, of Imboden passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.
Born December 19, 1942, in Cache Lake, AR, daughter of Ralph Weese and Ardella Wilson Weese. Esther worked for Monroe for many years on the assembly line. She loved to sew and make quilts; she donated her works to the Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.
She is preceded by her parents; her husband, Lafie Jones in 2007; her daughter, Margie West; and her bothers, and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Juanita (Mike) Biddle of Imboden; several grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Hawkins of Corning; and her beloved dog, Oreo; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 7, 2024, at 2 P.M. in the Wiles Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ash Flat. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
