A few months ago we visited the Collins Theatre in downtown Paragould for a concert and fell in love with the historic theatre.

The gorgeous lighted marque out front announces the current and upcoming shows. With its beautiful style and comfortable seating there’s truly not a bad seat in the house at the Collins to view the stage draped in red velvet curtains. For less than $5 you can buy a popcorn and soda to enjoy with the show.

Their theatre events have something for everyone. Concerts, musicals, plays, comedians and more all take the stage to entertain audiences. We will definitely be coming back to the historic theatre.

“ Constructed in 1925, the Collins Theatre has become a monument of historical significance for the community of Paragould. During its years as the Capitol Theatre, this classic building held a variety of events that included Broadway shows, vaudeville performances, and first-rate movies. Today the Collins welcomes patrons from Paragould and the surrounding area for all genres of music, theatre, and the fine arts.”
