Authorities report that 26-year-old Payden Biram Stewart was sentenced to 120 days in Stone County Jail and eight months suspended sentence as part of his plea deal with prosecutors in this fatal crash.
The Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Report said that Stewart crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by Ashton Rae Woods, age 33.
Woods died as a result of the crash.
Stewart pled guilty to charges of negligent homicide and careless and prohibited driving, both reduced to misdemeanors as part of the plea agreement .
He is also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
