Wednesday morning In Lawrence County began with an early morning fire on NE 2nd Street in Walnut Ridge. Lawrence County Dispatch notified Walnut Ridge Fire of a structure fire in the 400 block of SE 2nd street.
Hoxie Fire was requested for assistance, Walnut Ridge Police and Black Rock Police assisted with traffic.
At 7:25am, the Imboden and Smithville Fire Departments were dispatched to a second structure fire on Lawrence 224. Ravenden Fire was requested for additional water support.
Firefighters were clear of the scene on Lawrence 224 shortly after 9 am, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were also on scene conducting their investigation.
