On Thursday, a routine traffic stop ended with two in custody and charged with felony drug charges.
Black Rock Police observed a traffic violation and initiated a traffic stop on two motorcycles as they pulled into a residence in the 500 block of Beech Street.
BRPD made contact with the two individuals, both showed outstanding warrants for traffic violations, failure to pay fines and failure to appear.
The men identified as Shawn Laverne Woodson of Black Rock and Mark Rechtenbach of Ravenden.
Both were booked into the Lawrence County Detention Center, both men were found to be in possession of meth during searches by jail intake.
Woodson was charged with Furnishing Prohibited Articles (Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(Felony), failure to yield and violating an interlock device. Woodson also had outstanding warrants for failure to pay fines on traffic violations.
Rechtenbach was charged with expired tags, no motorcycle endorsement, Furnishing Prohibited Articles (Felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth).
