ReElla Joan Bradley, 79 of Jonesboro, died August 29, 2024, in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born November 30, 1944, in Lake City, daughter of Walter and Thelma Buchanan Lamb. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher at Hoxie Schools where she loved all the children. Joan never went anywhere that if she saw a child she had to stop and talk to them. She was a member of the Oak Hill General Baptist Church in Sedgwick. She loved her Lord and Savior, she was a very sweet, kind loving lady with a big heart. She will be missed very much by her family and friends. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives and been loved by her.
She is preceded by her parents; her husband, John Bradley; a brother, Lloyd Lamb; a sister, Janet Nichols; and a nephew, Barry Lamb.
Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Lamb Ridge; one niece, Teresa (Randy) Shaw; five nephews, Greg and Steve Lamb, Jeff (Kim) Ridge, Chris Ridge, and Tim (Angie) Nichols; several great nephews and nieces; as well as great great nephews and nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 2 P.M. in the Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick with Bro. Craig Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Bigger, Randy Shaw, Tim Nichols, Jeff Worlow, Chris and Josh Ridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg and Steve Lamb.
In Lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Old Military Cemetery Fund.
