Shortly after a “BOLO” (Be On The Lookout) was issued by Sharp County on Monday for a suspect involved in a domestic battery Black Rock Police spotted a vehicle on Hwy 63 matching the description given by Sharp County authorities.
Black Rock Police conducted a traffic stop and confirmed the driver was Donald Gene Moore of Brookland, the suspect involved in the domestic battery.
Moore was driving a Pontiac G6 at the time of the stop, a K9 at the scene alerted on the vehicle, officers discovered drug paraphernalia.
Moore was cited by BRPD but then transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center before he was transferred to Sharp County.
Moore was charged in Sharp County with 2nd Degree Domestic Battery with physical injury (felony).
Donald Gene Moore has a lengthy record with more than two dozen bookings in Sharp, Craighead, Cross, Mississippi Counties in Arkansas as well as previous charges in Stoddard County Missouri.
Black Rock Police were assisted by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
