Tracy Jane Benton, 54 of Portia, died August 26, 2024, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.
Born August 25, 1970, in Pocahontas, daughter of the late Noel Dean Benton and Carolyn Fain Benton. Tracy was a LPN and worked for St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Northeast Arkansas Hospital, and in home health. She enjoyed attending rodeos, cheerleading events, and basketball games for her kids and grandchildren. Most of all she loved spending time with her kids, grandbabies, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Wade Benton.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelby Dulaney (Logan) Davis of Bono; son, Paden (Anna) Dulaney of Walnut Ridge; three grandchildren, Atley Davis, WhitLynn Davis, and Silas Davis; three brothers, Barre (Nancy) Benton of Amory, MS, Nathan Benton of Hoxie, and Forrest Benton of Hardy; three sisters, Amber (Shane) McGinnis of Jonesboro, Renea Benton of Blytheville, and Roxann (Kenneth) Kenner of Paragould; her special friend, Darrell Thacker of Smithville; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2 P.M. in the Trinity Cemetery in Bono with Bro. Rick Hart officiating.
