Authorities have released the identity of the human remains discovered in a home in Cherokee Village in July of 2024.
The body was identified as Dana Deprow, age 54 using DNA testing. Authorities obtained DNA samples from a family member and the crime lab determined it was Dana Deprow who was the daughter of the property owner.
On July 8th authorities were notified of the discovery of skeletal remains in an abandoned home on Saginaw Circle in Cherokee Village.
Authorities were dispatched for a welfare check at the home, the door was discovered open , officers made entry and found the remains.
Authorities say no foul play is suspected, the investigation was conducted by the Cherokee Village Police Department and the Arkansas State Police.
