Betty Jean Tretenburg, 94 of Walnut Ridge, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2024. Betty was born December 31, 1929, in Old Walnut Ridge, daughter of Thomas R. Goodman and Ida Melton. She married Joseph Tretenburg on November 4, 1947, and they were together 59 years before his passing and worked together on their family farm.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; a son, Dale; and two sisters, Irene Hathcock, and Christene Lundquist.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10 A.M. in the Smithville Cemetery.
