The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) has received reports of debris on the boat ramp at Lake Bono. Upon investigation, our biologists identified a large scour hole at the end of the ramp, likely caused by outboard motor thrust during boat launching and loading. With the current low water levels, anglers are having to back their trailers in further, leading to axles and trailers dropping off the end of the ramp into the scour hole.

We understand the concern this poses, and contractors have been dispatched to address the issue. Repairs are expected to be completed within the week. In the meantime, please exercise caution when loading and unloading your boats at Lake Bono and other area boat accesses.

If you encounter any issues or have concerns at any of the northeast access points, we encourage you to contact AGFC. You can reach us online at www.agfc.com/contact-us or by calling the Jonesboro Regional Office at 833-200-5199
