Darrell Leon Brady, 84 of Walnut Ridge, died August 16, 2024, in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born December 8, 1939; son of the late, Willard Brady and Lorene Warner. Darrell was united in marriage to Ricca Marlin on April 22, 1961. He was a mail carrier for the Walnut Ridge Post Office and a local farmer. He enjoyed working, the outdoors, going hunting and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a Deacon, and Treasure for the White Oak Baptist Church in Walnut. And an active member in the group Carpenters for Christ.
He is preceded by his parents; and two siblings, Ronnie Brady, and Carolyn Melton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Ricca; two daughters, Sherry (Ross) Rainwater, and Jennifer (Phillip) Roark; three sons, Greg (Jennifer) Brady, Scott (Cindy) Brady, and Jarrod (Angela) Brady; twelve grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd) Rayburn, Rob (Melody) Rainwater, Noah and Caleb Roark, Logan, Landon, Jaxton, Jagger, Hayden, Adlee, Jaben and Brynlee Brady; four great grandchildren, Ava and Ellie Rayburn, Reed and Wyatt Rainwater; two sisters, Lavern Rogers, and Treasa Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 2 P.M. in the White Oak Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Foster and Bro. Jason Glenn officiating. Pallbearers will be his family. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the White Oak Baptist Church.
