Beverly Denece Travis, 64 of Portia; died August 16, 2024, in the St Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born August 15, 1960, in Batesville; daughter of the late, John Batey, and Olene Bulter Batey. Beverly was united in marriage to Mark Travis on October 28, 1978. She was an Accountant and worked for the Cavanaugh Auto Group. She enjoyed traveling, and cooking for her family. She was an active member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Portia.
Survivors include her husband, Mark; a daughter, Dawn Travis-Little (William) of Lebanon, MO; her mother, Olene Batey of Cave City; a brother, Gary Batey (Marlene) of Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Renee Batey of Southaven, MS, and Sabrina Sneller (Russell) of Bartlett, TN; aunt, Maxine Butler of Batesville; adopted grandson, Eli Stewart of Portia; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 12 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Roger Honey officiating. Pallbearers will be her family and friends. Interment will follow in the Mt View Cemetery near Cave City.
Visitation will be from 10 A.M. till 12 P.M. Saturday.
