Authorities report a Jackson County man has died after a one-vehicle accident on Saturday, Aug. 3rd.
76-year-old William David West of Grubbs was driving his 2006 GMC Yukon west on Highway 18 in rural Jackson County when the vehicle crossed the centerline and the eastbound traffic lane.
According to the Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Report, the vehicle left the roadway overturning multiple times before coming to rest in a field.
The accident occurred around 6:23 a.m. just west of Grubbs.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
