Billy Gene Blevins, 81 of Smithville, passed away August 1, 2024, at his residence.
Born November 30, 1942, in Powhatan, son of Jack and Pearl Easton Blevins. He worked for Black Rock Sand and Gravel, and owned and operated with his wife, Blevins and Son’s Trucking. Bill loved collecting and rebuilding Antique Tractors.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hazel; two sons, Terry and Wayne Blevins; two brothers, Willaim and Everett Gartrell; and two sisters, Edith Pearson and Ruby Rainey.
Survivors include a son, Teddy Blevins of Smithville; six granddaughters, Tera Blevins, Kerrie Osment, Megan Keister, Sondra Blevins, Jennifer Ruspoli, and Cassie Richmond; two grandsons, Josh Blevins and Hunter Wenzel; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother, Sam Blevins of Lynn; and two sisters, Thelma (Don) Tapp of Powhatan and Carolyn Fowler of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 5, 2024, at 12 P.M. in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn. Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie.
