The Lawrence County Cooperative Extension Office made the following announcement today:
Armyworms are here! This picture was taken from a field in Imboden last Friday.
Thresholds were met here with approximately four worms per square foot. I checked a couple more fields that day and while the other places did not meet accepted thresholds they were still present.
Producers need to be checking their fields at least a couple times per week. If you have any questions please contact the Lawrence County Extension Office at 870-886-3741
