I am super excited for the citizens of Ravenden!
Back in October of 2022, I signed a grant request on behalf of the Town of Ravenden for upgrades to our current water system. Earlier this week, I received notice that our grant request had been funded!
The grant funds awarded will be a little over 2.8 million dollars, and the best part…….0% cost share from the city!
This grant will allow us to build a new 250,000 gallon water storage tank and several new 6 and 8 inch supply lines throughout the city, with several new fire hydrants throughout the system! This will go a long ways in helping our ISO ratings and help with lowering insurance costs!
