Pamela Jane Moody 75, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away July 19, 2024, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Pam was born October 15, 1948, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Cleo and Louella Courtney Moody. She graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1966 and attended Arkansas State University. Pam retired from Entergy after 35 years of dedication service to the company and its customers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was a dedicated and loving daughter, an incredible sister, a doting aunt, and a loyal friend. She loved golfing and sharing time with family and friends. She had a kind heart, generous and caring spirit and devotion to others.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Cleo Moody and her mother, Louella Courtney Moody. She is survived by her sister, Vicki Moody Thomas and brother-in-law, Steve Thomas of Montgomery, Texas, and niece, Dr. Courtney Thomas (Ethan) of Yardley, Pennsylvania.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas with Reverend Jeremy Hopper officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Forrest Cemetery in Black Rock, Arkansas under the direction of the Bryan Funeral Home.
The family would like to express its deepest appreciation to the staff at Lawrence Hall, Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Legacy Hospice for the loving care they provided to Pam.
