Authorities report an Independence County man died after a motorcycle accident in Southside on Wednesday at 11:24am.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Jacob Lee Moody, age 35, of Southside, was driving a 2023 Harley-Davidson south on Hwy 167 near the Southside Citizens Bank branch when a northbound 2005 Chrysler van turned left into Moody’s path.
The ASP report stated that Moody’s motorcycle collided with the right side of the van.
The ASP Fatal Crash Report stated the weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
