Hazel Mae Richardson, 85 of Smithville passed away May 20, 2024, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born January 28, 1939, in Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Folkner Welch. She was united in marriage to Jack W. Richardson. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and loved to crochet, knit, and fish.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers, Junior, Clark, and Leland Welch; and one sister, Valdene Nichols.
Survivors include her son, Carl (Sharon) Richardson of Smithville; a granddaughter, Carly Richardson also of Smithville; a sister, Juanita Hines of Mississippi; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be announced at a later date.
