Clayton Dirk Davis, 64, of Walnut Ridge passed away suddenly on May 8, 2024.
Born December 5, 1960, in Jonesboro to the late Donald (DeDuck) and Carol Miles Davis. He was united in marriage to Deborah A. Franks Davis on December 27, 1982. He was the rank of Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He went to college at the University of Arkansas and graduated Salutatorian, from the Life University with a Doctorates Degree in Chiropractic. Dirk owned and operated Davis Chiropractic in Walnut Ridge for over 30 years. Early in his adult life he had a passion for bodybuilding and Boxing, he won the Mr. Mid Central U.S.A. and Mr. Arkansas titles, and Golden Gloves. He loved sports, watching Boxing and Football, he was a big fan of Notre Dame. He also enjoyed going to Spring River, camping, kayaking, fishing, and hunting. Most of all Dirk was a family man and loved his children, and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, J. Scott Davis, his paternal grandparents, Leo and Dorothy Davis; and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Ina Miles.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah of the home; a daughter, Scout (Jared) Blackwell of Walnut Ridge; two sons, Zachary (Samantha) Davis of Walnut Ridge, and Jebediah (Andrea) Davis of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Gatlin Davis, Sailor and Cadence Blackwell; a brother, Miles (Mary) Davis of Jonesboro; a nephew, Cory (Tish) Davis of Little Rock; a niece, Autumn (Adam) Pate of Alabama; and a nephew, Matthew Franks; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Jake Guenrich and Bro. Bill Hughes officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12 PM until the time of service.
