Helen Almeda Kerwin, 94, of Watauga, Texas formerly of Imboden, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Helen was born to Jesse and Leona Phillips in Black Rock, Arkansas on May 3, 1929.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Leona Phillips; husband William “Bill” Kerwin; brothers Harold Phillips and Glenn Phillips; and sisters Inez Wilton, Barbara Bates, and Coleda Woodson.
Helen is survived by her sons Ronald W. (Debbie) Kerwin of Watauga, Texas, and William A. (Janelle) Kerwin of Meade, Colorado; grandchildren Andrea Lynn (Danny) Kerwin of North Richland Hills, Texas, Jennifer K Kerwin of Fort Worth, Texas, Jessica (Patrick) Moss of Dixon, Illinois, and William R. Kerwin of Lemont, Illinois; great-grandchildren Eragon Armstrong, Brooke Armstong, Rachel Mack Armstrong, Jaimeson Moss, and Aaron Moss; great great grandchildren Addilyn Mack and Amelia Mack; sister Judith (Octavious) Smith of Smithville; nephews Scott Smith, Keith Smith, Wally Smith, Clifton Phillips, and Phil Pulliam; nieces Annette Irving, Pam Stewart, Sheila Williams, Patty Raih, Cathy Daniels, Sue Kerwin Thompson, Debra Hamm, Brenda Hughes, and Sue White
All services for Helen Kerwin will be held at the First Baptist Church, 405 Hwy 63, Imboden, Arkansas, on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The visitation will be from 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm. Helen’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 1:00 pm; Frank Casillas, officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, in Imboden.
