Koshkonong, Missouri is located just a few miles across the state line on Hwy 63.
A primitive jail sits beside Hwy 63 with several informative signs recently placed telling some of the history and folklore of this jail.
According to the signage, the jail was operated from 1902-1948 as the Koshkonong City Jail.
