Lonnie Edward Selvidge, 74 of Walnut Ridge, died March 30, 2024, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born August 20, 1949, in Arbor Grove, son of the late Ervin Roy and Essie Mary Simmons Selvidge. He was a Radio Announcer for several years and was known for speaking on the KRLW and KNBY radio stations. Lonnie was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Razorbacks and Cardinals.
He is preceded by his parents; and two brothers, Ronnie Edwin and an infant, Ervin Jr. Selvidge.
Survivors include his daughter, Valerie Emmons of Florida; two grandsons, Trevor and Zane; one great grandson, Ollie; three brothers, Mark (Barbara) Selvidge, Jerry Selvidge, and Jim (Charlett) Selvidge; four sisters, Mona English, Janice Harp, Patsy McElderry, and Lenora Holcomb; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11 A.M. in the Strangers Home Cemetery with Bill Wheeler officiating.
